Eugene Ankomah
Born in London and of Ghanaian heritage, Eugene Ankomah is an internationally respected visual artist, mentor and personality who is known for his innovative and multi-disciplinary style.
Having shown his work in many countries in Europe, Africa, and the US, his career has spanned over 25 years, the winner of numerous wards and whose work has been commissioned for major public and private institutions.
Eugene Ankomah’s latest work – a selection of had drawn digital “Brain-Wave” paintings are playful yet with sinister undertones. Through a raw and naive style, the artist explores relevant contemporary themes around terrorism, fear and social manipulation.
Widely collected, notable collectors include, Dame Kelly Holmes, Dizzie Rascal and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
