Hannah Lipsey
Hannah Lipsey is a London based artist using pencil to create hyper-realistic drawings. Obsessed with reflections and surface her work often takes the form of balloons, glass or ceramic. Her highly intricate drawings at first glance appear to be photography, and its this essence of hyperrealism has been an endless source of inspiration and fascination. Each of her meticulously crafted drawings can take up to 100 hours and the results are pure joy; gummy bears, balloon dogs and bunny’s all align in this wonderful quirky universe.
Her work is bold, daring and joyous.
Hannah has exhibited nationally, including for Bayard Art, she has exhibited at fairs nationally and internationally for the Affordable Art fair and The Other Art Fair. She has also been commissioned by major brands such as The Ordinary and Derwent.
