Michelle Mildenhall
Michelle Mildenhall is a UK based contemporary artist who creates unique, striking portraits in latex. Through her stylized imagery, Michelle seduces the viewer into a world of disconcerting beauty and mystique. By using popular but somewhat taboo themes of sexuality, and fetishism, she subversively questions the historic role of the submissive female subject within art history.

After finishing she moved to London where she worked for 12 years as a commercial graphic artist. Her influences include Pop Art, Bauhaus, Aubrey Beardsley, Cornelius Makkink, Andy Warhol, Piet Mondrian and Atsuko Kudo, to name a few! Mildenhall states that she really finds inspiration from everywhere, from "Torture Garden to Typography.
